Hi everyone,
I hope you are all well.
I haven't blogged this month, but I have done some sewing. I worked on a lap quilt for a gift. I was inspired by the HST overload quilt made by Red Pepper Quilts. I used a bunch of blues from my stash to make it. I'm almost done. It's all quilted. I just need to finish the binding. Here's a picture of the quilt top.
I've also been sewing myself some clothing. I made myself a tank top using Jalie #2806 Gathered Scoopneck top view B. I made it with an Art Gallery Knit. This was my first attempt at this pattern. I really like how it turned out. I'm going to be making more of these.
I've also made myself a dress, using the pattern McCall's 7121. I used a cotton knit from Fabricland. I love how this dress turned out. It is like secret pyjama's. This was my first time making this pattern. I did have to make a few alterations. I took 3/4's of an inch from each shoulder seam. I also had to take it in under the arm about an inch, just at the bust area. Other than that it fit great. This picture is taken with a belt, but I also like wearing it without a belt.
So, that's what I've been up to. Once I finish my quilt. I will share it with you guys. Have a nice weekend.
Hugs
Ariane

Wow, fantastic quilt Ariane. Love the colour play. Nice work on your tank top, dress and underthings.
That dress is so pretty (and I kind of love that you have matching underwear now.
