A little open-wide pouch

Hi everyone,

Tonight I decided to make a small Christmas gift.
I'd been meaning to try out Noodlehead's Open-Wide pouch tutorial for a while.
I thought it would make a great gift.

So, this is my first time making this pattern.
I played around with my 1.5 inch scraps and came up with the idea for the front of the bag.
I think it looks cute.

The little squares finish at 1 inch.
I like the stem and leaves going up the side.
They were fun to make.

Here's a few more pictures.

All the fabric came from my stash.

This is the perfect size for a make-up bag.
I will try making a few of the larger sizes.
This is the smallest size in her tutorial.

I hope you like it.

Hugs

It's lovely Ariane! I have this tutorial too and have been meaning to make one. Seeing your lovely creation, I think I will make some for Christmas gifts for my Nieces.

LOVE it! And the size of the blocks that you used really appeals to me. Something tells me that I might have to give this a try, despite my fear of zippers. Thanks!
