A bit more progress....

I've got the first row of my "Summer Dresden Quilt" done.
I'm working on quilting my fourth block now.
Here is what it looks like right now.

My pictures aren't the best, since it's a very gray day outside.
I'm really enjoying making this quilt.
The quilt-as-you-go method I'm using is from the Happy Zombie tutorial here.

I hope you like it!

Hugs

Your dresden plates are so bright and cheery... even despite the gray day! I love the quilting around the plates... very cool.

Thanks for the link for the QAYG method... I saved it b/c I think I'm going to be doing that over the next year. I signed up for Jan Patek's Bible BOM..

Hope tomorrow is sunny and bright for you!

I'm so excited to see this come together! I'm thrilled to have played a little part in it. And I certainly hear you about taking photos today - I took some for my blog and kept singing the blues that today wasn't as sunny as yesterday here in Kingston.

My heart is going pitter patter. Spectacular quilt. I do so love the Dresden Plate design, but your color choices & prints are absolutely brilliant. Modern, cheerful, spectacular. Love, love, love it! I'm eager to see how you progress and am certain this quilt is going to be beautiful. Did I say I love it?
