Hi everyone!
I hope you are all doing well.
Yesterday, I decided to join the "Small Quilt Talk" Yahoo group.
This group is organized by Kathleen Tracy.
The wonderful designer and author of books like "American Doll Quilts", "Remembering Adelia", "Prairie Children and their Quilts" and her newest book, "The Civil War Sewing Circle".
So, last night I was trying to keep myself awake.
I have to work a 12 hour night shift tonight, and I like to stay up really late the night before.
That way it's not as hard on me to stay awake for my shift.
I didn't really feel like working on my current projects.
I hadn't started anything new in a while.
So, I decided to make a little Valentine's quilt.
I used the pattern that Kathleen provided in the group.
This is the little quilt top I made.
It is only 17 inches square.
It's all made from my red and cream scraps.
I think it is so cute.
I still need to quilt it.
But I'm glad I made it and it satisfied my urge to make something new.
So, I'll be working night shift for the next two nights.
I hope you all have a great couple of days.
Hugs

How darling! And what a perfect project to make... there is definitely a place for quick projects... so satisfying!
That is very cute!! I don't think I could have completed it in one night though. LOL Being a new quilter I go pretty slow still. Have a good night at work tonight.
That's adorable, Ariane. You're going to really enjoy the Yahoo group - I lurk. teehee

What a lovely quilt top!!
That is too cute. I have tons of scraps and I can't dream of throwing even a thread away, so I rushed right over and joined along with you. Thanks so much, I look forward to playing with small quilts myself!
