Progress on my February Schnibbles quilt: Sundays Best

I hope you have been having a nice weekend.
I am off this weekend.
I did a bit of sewing last night and this evening on my Sundays Best quilt.
I am making a larger version of this pattern.
I have the center panel of the quilt done.
It is 54 inches square at the moment.
I am thinking of adding two more rows to this quilt.
That way it would fit on a twin bed.
This quilt would go well in the boys room.
I used my stash to make it. It a scrappy quilt.
I love that style of quilt.
Especially for an everyday quilt.
What do you think?

I love it! The color choices are perfect for a boy's room. Way to bust the scraps in style!

Very pretty. Love those warm colors! I just finished a similar one, only the blocks were turned slightly different. Mine used a charm pack.

The fabrics are wonderful!! It is fantastic that you have decided to make it large enough for a bed. My husband always ask what do I need so many small quilts for?! He says they can't keep him warm! Hee!

It looks great! Did you use some of the same materials that you used in the potholders? If you have more scraps, I'd go ahead and make it fit a twin bed. It would get more use that way right?
