Beatrix Potter Log Cabin quilt done!!

Hi everyone, I finished my Beatrix Potter Log Cabin quilt. I just put the last stitches in the binding a few minutes ago. I still need to make a label for it, but otherwise it's done. I really love this quilt. It was fun to buy all those fabrics. I literally did a shop hop for all those fabrics. I purchased fabric from every quilt shop in the Kingston and Brockville area. I paper pieced all the blocks, and machine quilted it myself. It was a challenge to quilt it, but I think it looks good. I didn't have any puckering in the front, and only a little bit of puckering in one corner on the back. So that's pretty good for me. I hope you like it. I love the colors in this one. It just makes me smile to look at it.

Happy Stitching!

I love the quilt! I used Beatrix Potter pictures in my first daughter's nursery years ago, but this is so much prettier than anything I had available at the time! I also like the new header.

That is very pretty! If you don't tell people about the less-than-perfect bit of quilting in the corner they will never notice, you know.
