So, I started another project

I had a severe migraine on Sunday and Monday. Today I still had a headache but at least I could function. I stayed in my pjs all day. But I was up. I needed to sew. But didn't want to have to concentrate on anything. So, I took my crumb box and grabbed a handful of crumbs and set them beside my sewing machine. I took two small pieces of fabric, one light, one dark and sewed them together. Cut them apart, ironed them and decided I should make quarter log cabin blocks. I decided to do them one colour each. Almost all the piece of fabric came from my crumb bin except for a few 1.5 inch pieces that were needed to finish a block. I made my blocks 4.5 inches. I couldn't go any bigger because most of my pieces were small. I really love my little blocks.
I'm going to make a table topper quilt with these. I hope you like it.

Looks like a fun project! Kind of reminds me of a Gee's Bend quilt.

That's a great way to use up crumbs. Looks like you have the making of a fun quilt.

I am not sure I have ever heard the term "crumbs" used with fabric-that is cute and I must remember it--
and I did just reload the new address into my post listings--so we are good to go--
enjoy the moments-

I am waiting for inspiration to strike to use my crumbs...have had a few thoughts but nothing has said YES! yet. THESE I really like, the variance in logs width and doing everything other row in a light...Too cool! Funny I had a WICKED headache Sunday and pretty bad all day Monday too...stress induced was mine, sigh.

Very sorry to learn that you experience migraines. Nasty stuff. Those blocks are terrific. Such terrific colours - bright and cheery!
