My Broken Dishes Quilt is finished!!!!

Hi everyone!

You've probably been wondering what I've been doing.
This is a very busy time of year for all of us.
But, I did finish one of my UFO's.
This is the Broken Dishes Quilt that I had tutorials for.
The top was done last year at this time.
It's a nice lap quilt.

Here it is all done!!

A close-up of the quilting.

This is a Christmas gift for my oldest.
He doesn't read my blog, so I'm not worried he will see it.
I used a really soft flannel on the back.
It's going to be a nice cozy quilt to cuddle with.

I hope you like it.

Hugs

It is beautiful! No. 1 will love it! I often use flannel as a backing, especially when I think the quilt will get used a lot for- like you said - cuddling!

Merry Christmas!

Love broken dishes. I made one years and years ago and gave it to my oldest sister. Terrible that I miss it. But I like your version better than mine. You always add something wonderful to your projects that make them special, be it fabric or design.
