A few color blocks....

Hi everyone,

I finally got some sewing in last night.
I'm working on a baby quilt.
The center panel is done.
Now, I'm working on the border.
It's a color quilt.
The border is going to have the names of the colors found in the quilt.
Here are my first two words.

I'm doing the words using the free pieced technique found in this book.
Word Play Quilts: Easy Techniques from the UnRuly Quilter (That Patchwork Place)

It's a lot of fun to make these blocks.

Have you been following the Dots on Dots Blog Hop this week.
The full schedule is available at Quilt Taffy's Blog.
If you didn't check the first weeks participants, I would do that.
Some of them are having giveaways that you don't want to miss,
and the inspiration is tremendous!!!

This is this weeks schedule!

My day is Tuesday the 18th.
So, don't forget to stop by.
I'm so thankful for these blog hops.
If it wasn't for them giving me a deadline to sew, I would probably not be doing much sewing.
I've been so busy.

I hope you have a nice day.

Hugs

These turned out really well--I have the book, and my husband just gave me a second copy--time to use it!
