A mini quilt done and an ornament!!!

I had a busy day today.
I worked, then went out of town with my husband
for three hours to pick up a guitar my husband traded.
We then picked up the kids from the inlaws, and came home at about 8 pm.
I brought my stitching with me on the ride
and managed to stitch the free pattern that was posted on Gail Pan Designs Blog.
I really love this little stitchery. Thanks Diane for suggesting it to me yesterday.
Because I was looking for a stitching project to make.
I decided to give this as a gift. I quilted it by machine.
I think it turned out pretty cute.
And I got this little quilt done in one day.
Love it!!!

I also made a little ornament I designed myself.
It is my first prototype. It needs a bit of adjusting.
But I still really like it.
It is very simple, and did not take very long to make.
I plan to make a set of six little stitched ornaments with a different word on it.
I think it is going to be a nice addition to my tree.
 I hope you like it.

It is almost 1:00 am. So I better go to bed.
I have to be up in 4 hours to work.

Ariane :o)

I love both of these projects and will have to do the Christmas tree one next year.I love redwork don't you? Now on to the scolding part...stop staying up and losing sleep! Be kind to your body. You're stitching will be there when you get up! I used to stay up late and get up early to have more time to craft. I don't anymore. It took it's toll.
