Hi there!
I've been busy finishing projects that were almost done.
Plus, I started and finished a bunch of small knitting projects.
I started and finished these knitted socks in June 2020.
They are made from Misti Alpaca Hand Paint sock yarn and Cascade Heritage form the toes, heels and cuffs. I just made plain vanilla socks using the tutorial by Kay at the Crazy Sock Lady podcast. I used the video tutorial for Vanilla socks on magic loop.
I also made a baby quilt top in June. But, I haven't finished it yet.
I keep debating if I'm going to put a border or not. I need to get this done though.
Then in July, I started and finished another pair of socks.
I used the Nelson Cabin sock pattern by Carol Baird. It's a free pattern on Ravelry.
I really love how these turned out too. I used Patons Socks FX in Cadet Colors. It's more like a sport weight yarn. But makes nice squishy socks.
I also started and finished the Spindrift Shawl by Helen Stewart.
I had purchased the yarn, Cascade Heritage Silk Peruvian Tones in Deep Wisteria, in a destash sale. I only paid $3.00 for the skein. I thought it would be perfect for making my first ever knitted shawl. I love how it turned out.
I had started a crochet cardigan last summer.
It only needed the ends woven in and blocking.
So, I got all that done.
The pattern for this cardigan is Camino by Rowan. It is a free pattern.
I used Ice Yarns Wool Cord Sport in Dark Fuchsia. This yarn was quite itchy. But I decided to take a chance and throw it in the washer and dryer and see if that made a difference. I did. It's much softer now. It's still a bit itchy, but comfortable to wear. It shrank just a tiny bit. I started this in August 2019 and just finished it in July 2020.
This next project just needed the ends woven in and blocking too.
It's the Lacy Feather and Fan Wrap by A. Westbrook. It's a free pattern.
This wrap is so pretty.
I used a ball of Regia Lace that I bought on sale last year. I started this wrap in July 2019 and finished it completely in July 2020.
I have a few pairs of knitted socks in the works right now.
The first one is a shorty sock made with leftover yarn.
I haven't started the second one yet.
This next sock is made with Patons Kroy FX in Cameo Colors. I'm using Hermione's Everyday socks pattern by Erica Lueder.
I've got the first sock done and I've started the second.
I've got a few more UFO's that I would like to get done in the next few weeks. It all depends on how much time I get for crafting. Sometimes life gets in the way. LOL!
Hope your summer is going well!!
Hugs to all!!

Oh Ariane - your knitting projects are gorgeous. I bet those socks are lovely and warm. Pretty shawl and I love the colour/style of your cardi. Such a sweet baby quilt. What fabric range have you used? You have certainly been a busy bee.
Your needles are flying! I've never successfully knitted an entire sock, but I have one about 1/2 done.
