I finally finished this quilt.
I free motion quilted it with my Janome 1600p-db. It worked like a charm. I also made a matching mini table topper quilt with the leftover strips. It's super cute.
I'm glad to have this off my list of UFO's.
Again, this was all made from cotton and wool from my stash. Yeah!!!

Both are so cute and with leftovers--great!!!
one of the projects that I started yesterday was to use up some gift fabrics to get them out of the stash-welllll--I just had to order another $25 worth of the fabric line to finish this quilt--can you believe it--so much for getting some of the fabric out--but maybe most of the new and old will get used up in the quilt--time will telllll!!!!!!!
enjoy the moments,di
Cute appliqués and mixed media have combined to make a fun quilt and bonus mini. You are powering through the projects.
It's great. I like the combination of wool and fabric and the pattern.
I do, I do like it. I like a lot. Congrats on finishing these adorable pieces. Very well done with the quilting too. ;^)
The moment I saw the two pieces together, I thought of your hanging the quilt on a wall and putting a pretty vase on the mini right in front of the quilt. It would look so good to have two matching pieces near each other. Those little log cabin blocks are perfect with your wool applique.
Thanks for the visit, I appreciate your comment.
That is beautiful, Ariane! It's easy to see the Time, effort, and love you put into that quilt. I love the mini from the leftovers, too! Great finish!
Really lovely. I like the pattern you have quilted in your borders.
Ohhhhh my stinking gosh....I am totally in love with this quilt.
What a delightful wall hanging! And very cute companion mat. Well done!
Congratulations Ariane! Your free motion quilting was a great choice... Love the leaves especially!
Wow - that is beautiful - and right up my color ways with the plaid - love the matching table runner!
