here to see all the wonderful quilts in blogland. My contributions to the quilt festival is my "Tumbling Block" quilt. I made this quilt for my daughter. It is all hand pieced and hand quilted. It is the first quilt that I did inset seams. It was a very big accomplishment when I got it all done. It took me 5 months to do. I really love the way it looks. I hope you like it too.

ReplyDeleteLove your tumbling blocks! Did you use the English paper piecing method? Perhaps I don't understand what inset seams are. This is not an easy quilt to put together. I applaud you for your beautiful work!

ReplyDeletewow, I could never hand piece -- I have one I've been handquilting allegedly for years, and can't even get that done, so I really can't imagine handpiecing! Thanks for sharing -- great quilt! (and *love* the spring applique for your bag swap down below)
